The MRCS exam is conducted jointly by the following four surgical colleges: 

  • Royal College of Surgeons of England (RCS Eng) 
  • Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh (RCSEd) 
  • Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow (RCPSG) 
  • Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland (RCSI) 

No, you must have completed at least one year of clinical internship to be eligible.
